Subject: Problem with axis interpretation in Poser 7

I've at odd times run into a problem with coords within Poser 7.  If I get working on a complex scene it sometimes seems to switch from using the fixed x, y, z axes on the grid to creating one oriented to the object being manipulated.  It's a lot easier working with a set of axes who's orientation doesn't change as your manipulating an object.  is there a way to make sure Poser uses the fixed floor grid?

It depends on whether the object in question is parented to anything - igf it if, it uses the parent's axis as it's point of reference.

Thank you that will save a LOT of agravation.  One of the objects in question was a shield that I wanted to move from the left arm to the back.  Unfortunately with a round object two fo the axes just turn it in circles. ;)  next time I'll know to  unparent it first.
