hello there, im a total noob to bryce as you can tell , i have an image i want to create - i need a terrain with 1 big hill with rocks and so on and grass. can i make this with bryce and then save it- then open it up with poser 7 to create my image? if not can anyone advise me what other options i have? thanking you!!

I believe you can do this with Poser7 as I used to export Bryce terrains with their mats from Bryce4 to use in Poser4. If you are going to use rocks and such you may have to export them seperately though.

I do this with Bryce 6 and Poser 6, but the textures do not come along for the ride.

Bryce terrains always generate textures object top. They don't map parametrically. The steeper your slope the more distorted your texture image. Make a mesa with canyonland texture in bryce and the export will look terrable.

You can remap with another program. I prefer UV Mapper but there are free programs available like blender that can do it.

have you thought about the inverse possibility? That is, import the figures in Bryce and use the Bryce renderer.
