Subject: Does Vue Pro Studio 6 work OK with Vista?

I am planning to buy a new computer.  They all have Vista installed.  I'd rather stick with XP, but it's getting harder to find.  Does Vue 6 (Pro Studio) have any issues with Vista, and 64-bit processors?

The big thing is to run as administrator (right-click on the icon and you will see it).  There are lots of other things, but overall Vue works fine with Vista.  Do make sure to have at least 2GB of memory or more if you have the 64bit.  Figure at least 1GB will go to Vista.

um, no problems here. Not directly related to Vista anyway. Vue is kinda buggy, so dont think it is Vista.

I have run Vue 6 Pro Studio under Vista 32 bit without problems. I am now running V6Infinite under Vista 64 bit, also no problems, with installation and running.

The more memory, the better - Vista is a memory hog! (I imagine you are going for a 32-bit system, so get 2GB memory if you can- although Vista 64-bit allows you to seriously party in the memory stakes) .

I will reiterate what Peggy says - follow her directions above and remember to run Vue under Vista as administrator - even if you are logged on as the administrator. If you don't, it will be a frustrating experience - speaking from personal experience here!

My Vista experience has actually been a very pleasurable one. I like Vista and I enjoy using it!
