Subject: M4 ... Too much hype over nothing? Take 2

nyguy ( ) posted Wed, 15 October 2008 at 6:57 AM · edited Fri, 22 November 2024 at 12:54 AM

Since I cannot find the original post I am going to restart it.

To recap... IMHO Daz is over hyping M4 as they did with V4
Talk over at Daz about paying extra for his "toast"
Marketing clothing for a figure that is not out yet
Due date ... Unknown might be today it might be next month... all we get from Daz is "soon"

Upside to M4 being released, AM2008.

Officially M4 will need one or two weeks more to be finished. May be they will him as Release 4.5.

lol with your posts you are giving him better advertising than Daz is. You are getting folks to go check it out who might not have cared otherwise. Don't know why you bother, either folks will buy him or not.

It is not confirmed yet on how they will be releasing the "donger". One suggestion as they did with V4 would be in the Morph++. I personally won't be buying much anything for M4, not because he is a he but because I rarely use Male figures and I am more prone to use Apollo than Mike when I do.
I am also looking for a new female figure. I like the "K" Figure but have not played with her much yet.

This sounds really cool... thanks for that nyguy... would never have known about it.

I try to keep up with most new figures, too bad there is not more support for her she looks like she is a decent figure, As I have said I have no played with her too much.

Says she can be used for commercial or non commercial yet says to read the license for terms of use. Can someone who has downloaded her let me know if she can be used commercially or not?
Thanks

I will be getting M4 when he comes out. I am curious to see what Daz has done with their new male figure. It's new I guess and that's the atraction for me. Plus Daz allows me to actually LOOK at the figures geometry and rigging and tweak it as I desire, can't use a figure that I cannot tweak  to my specifications.  The one I am really waiting in anticipation for is phantom3D's new male figure Brad.

Life is hard, but what a ride.

I got M4 and bought the morphs and so far I think
it's not as good as M3 maybe cause M4 ain't been
out long enough for people to come up with good textures
yet. M4 works great using M3 poses. Maybe I need
to stop buying characters as soon as they hit the market
and wait to see how they turn out.

Have not bought the morphs yet and have just the default textures that came with him. I have not used M4 much except to test PhilC's Clothing Designer to see how hard it would be to make clothing since I ain't got none except a tux (every man needs a tux even nudists  )
