Subject: my foggy morning sampler

I'm venturing into doing some background work for Poser.  I've collected quite a few nature backgrounds from the Pacific northwest.  I've put a sampler in free stuff (still waiting approval) and am considering doing a larger package (larger images, higher resolution and many more pictures) for the marketplace.  In that I've considered adding a light set to accompany it.  Would that be appreciated or unnecessary since most artists set up thier own lights?

The sampler will be labled "Foggy Morning Sampler" when it appears in free stuff. :)

I've just approved them...sorry, not a Poser user so I can't speak to your 'light' question. As a 3D artist tho I will always dl something in an app I do use even just to explore it and I find a lot of 3D folks are that way as a learning method so you might just include them as well...up to you. Anyone who didn't want them but only the imags could just ignore them in any case.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Thank you bobby,
I really appreciate that.  I see you use Bryce,  That was my very first 3d program I used.  Back when Bryce, Poser and Raydream (later Cararra) were all under the Metacreation umbrella.  It was Bryce that got me into using Poser because I wanted to "populate" my Bryce scenes.  :)

Lights would be appreciated. I can imagine it would be hard to set up lighting to match a scene like those.

I especially like the 5th one.  Thanks!

Some IBL settings would be an excellent addition.  This allows great matching of illumination and bg.

You've got it.  I'll work on those for the free stuff, then redo them as a marketplace product.  Your feedback has been very helpful. :)
