I haven't tried the script yet. I know modifying the file didn't work for me, but maybe I did something wrong.
You can also turn off PMD in the preferences and then save your morphs and it won't create the extra PMD file. Not sure what you would do if you didn't create the morph and can't save it again. There's probably a way, but I don't know how yet. I was using one of those magnet packages to fit hair to M4. My saved hair would work in Poser but not in Studio. That's when I found out about PMD files and how to turn them off and save the morphs without them. They work in both programs then. But maybe with the script we wouldn't even have to do that.
Quote - So the original line wouldn't be there anymore, correct? And will the file still work in Poser? Thanks.
Hi MelnOhio, sorry for not getting back earlier. I forgot about this post. The change I made to the make the PP2 file to work in D|S does not affect it from working again in Poser (I have Poser 7 so I can't say for earlier versions).
The Inject PMD script provided by DeltaX15 at DAZ Forum is for Pose PZ2 files. Unfortunately does not apply to Prop PP2 files. I have tried.
At the moment the only way for DAZ Studio to load the PMD morph into it's associate Prop PP2 file is to first modify the Prop PP2 file as I have noted above.
Note: I have ALL of DeltaX15 scripts. They are fantastic and a definite MUST have for D|S. I believe DAZ should put them in a standard on their next release of D|S.
P.S. Sorry again for my slow responses.
