I have that prop and if anyone has anything Stonemason, you know his products are HUGE. Is there a way to move your model to the exact point of your prop background without using the dials? Three odd years using Poser and you'd think I'd know.

The following might work - if I understand your problem right.

  1. Select your model/figure
  2. Choose Figure->Set Figure Parent;
  3. Pick the prop you want the figure to move to
  4. Select the BODY actor of your figure, and set the xTran,yTran and zTran values to zero.
  5. Optional: choose Figure->Set Figure Parent and choose the UNIVERSE object.

This will move your figure to the exact location of that particular prop. You may have to twiddle the dials a little to correct the positioning, but this is it in a nutshell.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
