Hi

Still pretty new at this.  Have been purchasing models from Renderosity for a while now.  Usually, pretty straight forward as to where to install the files in DS.
Until the latest model I purchased.  The Model has no folders like Runtime etc....

Can anyone help as to where these files should be placed or will this model not function in DS?
Here is the readme file:

FILE LIST

After unzipping the CARGT.ZIP archive, you will find the following files:

CARGT.3DS      - The car model in 3DS format

Texture Files :

CARPET.JPG
DASH01.JPG
LEATHER.JPG
LICENSE.JPG
PERF1.JPG
PERF2.JPG
REFLECT.JPG
ROTOR.JPG
STEREO1.JPG
STEREO2.JPG
STEREO3.JPG
STEREO4.JPG
STEREO5.JPG
STEREO6.JPG
TIREB.JPG
TLIGHT.JPG
UCOAT.JPG

Thats the whole contents of the folder.

Thanks!

3ds is a 3D Max format that Studio cannot open.  It can be opened and converted to Wavefront object (*.obj) that Studio can read.  PoseRay is a good free utility to do the conversion.  The 3ds format is a complex format unlike the obj format so models don't always come out right when converted.  Blender, a free modeling program can read 3ds files and is useful for fixing  any weirdness before converting to obj.  But Blender can be hard to learn.
