Ok, I am trying to find out about 2 things here. first with animate. does anyone know where the animate blocks are hidden? I've installed uninstalled numerous times and the blocks do not show up in my content folders. I checked my virtual store and moved everything there to the daz studio folder still my blocks do not show up. what gives?

and 2nd anyone ever have problems with render throttle?  every time I reopen studio, render throttle duplicates itself see the pic included. again I've tried installing and reinstalling render throttle and studio it will not go away. and as you can tell render throttle is not even installed currently. how can I clear out my ui?
any ideas on what to do here?

Not sure about PC but on a Mac they should be loacted at:

HD -> Applications -> Daz Studio -> Content -> aniBlocks

I'm sure on a PC the path to the aniBlocks would be something similar.

If you know one the names of aniBlocks you have installed, try doing a search on your computer.

Re: RenderThrottle - again, on a Mac, but never had a problem with RenderThrottle. This might be an OS issue? Have you contacted DAZ support with this? or the developer? They may be able to help straighten out your issues.

I finally found the blocks, seems they don't show up in the content folder.
I found them in the animates timeline pull down menu.

Check in ResourcesRunOnce in the folder you installed Studio to - I suspect the script that adds the render Throttle script to the menu isn't being deleted as it should be (likely if you are using Vista). There probably shouldn't be anything there at all, so if there are files highlight them, cut them and paste them to a new location - try running DS and if it seems OK you can delete the moved files.

I gave that a try the only thing in that folder was QSStartupScript I tried moving that and there was no change

No change as in it added another set of Render Throttle commands, or no chnage as in it didn't remove the excess? If it didn't add new entries you'll have to remove the extras  by hand - Edit>Customise, in the right-hand panel click the Menus tab, then expand main menu, then the Render menu, then right-click on each excess entry and then click remove.

  no change with anything really. I removed all the extras by hand under the customize menu and reinstalled. seems to be working fine now. 
my new system has some weird kinks that need to be ironed out. speaking of which and I know this isnt really the place to ask but the vast knowledge here is a god send and maybe someones had this issue.
but my new system is a quad core with vista 64  and whenever I try to pull files from windows explorer my pointer goes completely nuts, just hover the pointer over the window anywhere and it will start flashing very fast from an arrow to a donut making it very hard to click on my files. this only happens in the explorer window nowhere else. sound familier to anyone?

What anti-virus do you have? Windows will pop-up a tool tip with information when you hover over a file or folder - it sounds as if something is interfering with that, and anti-virus (or other security software) would be the first thing to suspect. Try disconnecting from the net, turn your AV off, and see if the behaviour goes away.

I'm currently running norton 360 I tried turning it off and my cursor is still flickering. I have the save AV on my laptop with vista32 and have no problems like this. I might try uninstalling it, I really dont like norton anyways and install avg.
