Hi Blue_boy!

What version of Poser are you using?
If its P7 it may be so simple that texture filtering kicks in, you can disable that in the material room or look for the free Python script created by Svdl.

If not, show us a picture of what the dullnes look like.

increase the specularity of the eye textures in the Material room (dang, I almost sounded like I knew what I was talking about for a sec...;)

Another trick, dialate the eyes slightly, maybe .2 or so, it's a subconscious cue that indicates interest. (It's why the market guys in the souks in the Middle East wear sunglasses)

You guys make me feel like a newbie. lol

Depending on how dull your eyes are, you can just simply brighten them up in Photoshop, Paintshop pro or a similar program, that way you don't have to render the entire picture over again, just for the sake of two small eyes.

Postwork is always an option, but my own preference is to get the lighting and materials right within the Poser 3D scene. If I then decide I want to render the same scene from a slightly different angle, I don't have to do the postwork all over again.

When working on one small element of the image, you can do quick area renders over the top of a full render; you don't have to render the whole image over and over again.

It would be good to see an example of your 'dull' eyes, Blue_Boy. It might just be a case of increasing the diffuse value on one or more of the eye material zones, or making sure you get some specular highlights in them...  it's so difficult to say what's needed unless we can see what's wrong.
