Subject: OT: Madden Curse Strikes Again?

You decide.  Palamalu was injured in the first half of tonight's game and will be out for 3-6 weeks.  I feel kinda sorry for him.

For those of you who haven't heard about it, every year it seems that the player who is chosen to be on the cover of the Madden NFL football game either has a very bad year or ends up getting injured.  Last year farve was on the cover and he ended up getting hurt and not being able to help his team down the stretch.  IIRC the year before that was vince young and he ended up getting benched real early.

I hadn't heard how long he was going to be out, not good. Hopefully Ben won't end up spending most of the season in court. As for the curse, I guess Larry Fitzgerald better be very, very careful now.

(OK even Danish newspapers have been touting the new NFL season... but since almost any sport (except boxing and tractor pulling) leaves me cold.. I hadn't much paid attention...)

You are Kiddiing , right ... Tractor Pulling  !
I would have never guesed that one.  We have them here in Texas and most Mid-west states. I like the Older Tractors the best.

They did a few years ago and he got hurt that season.  I don't think he'll get featured again.

Vick, no 's,' which I'm sure is a relief to the maker of a certain mentholated salve - otherwise he might have done for them what HIV did for a certain "diet candy." I can't wait for Mike's debut in the dogpound end of Cleveland stadium. It should be a hoot.
