Subject: Actuall character height ?

Sorry if this is a silly question or if I did not do my searches ok here
but I am trying to find out if there is a tool to get the actual hight of a character
for example V4 ?
I need to scale them more or less exact and I feel the general scale option for a body
is not giving me what I need.

a Python script maybe ?

Place your character with its feet on the GROUND plain. Load a Poser box primitive. yTran the box until its bottom edge is level with the top of the characters head. The value on the yTran dial will be the hight of your character in whatever units you have set Poser to use.

It's easier to align the box with the top of the head if you use an orthogonal camera, such as the Front of Left Camera.

Could you set the scales in the early versions? Poser 4.. didn't that ONLY use PNU?

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

Yes, P4 only used PNU.

Pnu's in P4? ... Yup ... But ...

You can just use Dr Geep's Scale (DGS). ... 😄 ...

DGS works in ALL versions of Poser from P1 through P8 and beyond.
(because the Pnu uses exactly the same scale as the Wavefront OBJect unit scale)
