Subject: Carrara and mt5 files (poser material files)?

Although i haven't got carrara to see these files is it possible to use these files in carrara through some sort of trickery?

I have quite a few material packs and would like to use them in carrara as well as poser

I think the only way is to add the material in Poser to a primitive, save as PZ3 or other format (maybe as a proper works better) and import into Carrara... BUT I am shure you will never get the same thing, since Carrara nodes are diferent from Poser nodes.

The easiest way is to simply convert the material files into Mat Poses, which Carrara can read.
