Subject: Problem with eyes

Hello,

I am having a problem with a custom character made with V4. In order to have the eyes placed properly in the head, they had to be moved very slightly in the X and Z planes. Now whenever a pose is applied to this character, the eyes move back to their untranslated positions, requiring me to re-set them every time. My question is, is there a way to keep the eyes locked to their translated positions? I have tried the "Lock Actor" option but that means that none of the eye poses will work (e.g. look left). It is not a big deal to re-set the eyes every time but it can be somewhat tedious to have to do it over and over again.

Thanks for any replies.

Change the min/max translate limits for the eyes, setting them to those same values.  You'll need to force limits on each translate channel to make it stick, unless you want to enable limits globally via the menu before applying poses.

Look for the post "**The Monster Eyes Problem (part 1)**" on the linked page.

Note that the examples in that thread use "leftEye" and "rightEye". V4, and many recent figures use "lEye" and "rEye".
