That would be your displacement channel on the main PoserSurface node that will need to have some number put in it. The value will depend on your units (inches or feet or whatever) setting. Also, in the render, you will need to have a value in min displacement and also use displacement maps ticked.
Be aware that the entire surface will be affected, so the "mountains" will be over your entire surface.

I've actually downloaded your prop and have it loaded in Poser 7.
I'm still not clear what you are trying to do. I see a dish with walls. are the walls meant to be the mountains?

Exactly. I'd like to use function which let me obtain weave looks like mountain on the skyline.
I suppose that I must interact P node with sth else. ATM I use P node with clouds - function step, but I do not like it.
I'm afraid I'm a bit out of my depth... I only ever use displacement for elevation of mesh, so this is a new wrinkle to me.
