First time I hear of them, it does look interesting. I personally don't find 25$ to 35$ too expensive considering all that seems to be included in one tutorial. If it's all well explained, a lot of the knowledge can then be applied to an awful lot of other stuff, there's info, tips you could find useful in there for a long long time. The freebie tutorials seem well explained but it's all pretty basic stuff, it's hard to say if the things that are a little bit more complicated are explained as thoroughly... I really like that it's tutorials for full projects too, the beginning to the completely finished project, that's pretty cool. Maybe try the cheapest one first to see?
Thanks for sharing the link anyway, I've bookmarked it. I don't have much time to give them a try at the moment but when I do, there's at least a couple of them that I would very much like to try and it will be interesting to see what other tuts they will add in the future. :)

One thing I don't like is that they only offer streaming video so you won't be able to download the videos you buy.
I found a great site that offers free tutorials similar to those I wanted from RetouchCreative:
http://10steps.sg/category/tutorials/
I followed one of them to create this piece:
It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted but the technique presented in the tutorial is pretty advanced.
Oh how cool! They have Joomla tutorials on that one too!
Your image looks great, is it the smoke fading tutorial you did?

Thank you and yeah, it was the smoke fading tutorial. I didn't go through it step by step though. After I started on my image I kinda lost track. There are a lot of exciting tutorials there though.
Yes, I just looked quickly, but it does look like there's lots and good ones, that's another bookmark! lol
I still want to try one from Retouch Creative though, that's the one I want to try: http://retouchcreative.com/videotutorial10.aspx looks fun... :)

Yeak I like that one too. I´m sure there's a lot of things you can draw upon from that tutorial. Alas, I don't have money for it at the moment.

I´m always looking for new tutorials and techniques and I came across an exciting site called retouchcreative.com. It has some very exciting tutorial projects that are just the thing I´m looking for. But it's quite expensive. Each video costs $25-$35 so I was wondering if anyone here knew if these videos are worth it or if there is maybe a cheaper option for me somewhere else but with similar projects.
Thanks.
