Set your Poser units to feet or centimeters (whatever you prefer) and you can use the Poser Box as a measuring device

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Oh Oh! I feel another Poser units thread coming up... :scared:

"Oh - the manual says that? I have never read the manual - this must be why."There is a way but it's damn tricky. It firstly depends on your scale, which all boils down to who you believe has the correct one in the first place.
If it's any help at all, when I build models in Wings, I use each ground square on the grid to represent one inch. To then import into Poser at the correct scale, I reduce to 1.115% of the original size. In the case of the NSD (that's a Dalek model, btw), that gives me a size of approximately 5' 6", which seems to work out right with the relative sizes of A3, SP3, V3, V4 etc.
I realize the above isn't exact in itself but if you have an idea of the native unit size in Wings, then reduce by the amount I mentioned, it should get you into the ballpark. Good luck with measuring bust size on one of the female models, though; it's incredibly difficult to get right in real life, never mind in virtuality. And there's no "hands on" in there, either. ;)

Roland59 has an EasyPose tape measure in freestuff that might be helpful. And once you have the measurements, here's a handy bra size calculator so you can be sure that Vicky has comfortable, well fitting support - and perhaps answer the age old question of whether the camera adds a cup size.

I know it is all a matter of perception really, but what I was wanting to know is if anyone knows of any way to determine how Daz V4 body can be compared to a real person? In other words, say a female has the measurements of 34, 24, 34. Is there any way beside going by eye and tweaking the various dials to get more accurate in how that would translate over to the V4 body?
I have been playing around with bust, waist, etc. measurements and I was not sure if there was some sort of guide to go by or if it is just an eye sort of thing and playing with the dials?
