Subject: Objects cut off. Is there any way to...

jartz ( ) posted Thu, 10 June 2010 at 11:26 AM · edited Fri, 16 August 2024 at 3:57 PM

Keep the front position of what I'm working from cutting off.  I'm using the Blender 2.5 Alpha 2 since my Blender 2.49 is acting crazy.  Is there a camera position to keep it from cutting me off when I go closer to what I'm working on?

Thanks.

JB

Are you referring to the clipping of the camera? If so, it means that you are working with very small, or very large objects. Blender 2.49 will give you more stability than 2.5 but in both it's the same adjustment. In 2.5, select the camera, press "n" if your properties panel is not showing, go to the "Clip" tab and change the "Start" from 0.1 to something like 0.01 or eve just 0.0.

Well, I'll be.  That was fast.

Thanks Pret-A-3D, it did the trick.

It turned from this.
