This is probably because the geometry of the missing parts is not referenced correctly or at all in the CR2.
I thought the same, but it is not the cause. I ve checked cr2 and its ok - referencing to obj, which includes all body parts.
here is my workflow:
I loaded all props into p6 (p8 keep crashing during it)
I set the hierarchy in editor and make the figure - all body parts are on place.
I make new scene and load justly made figure form "new figure" folder (now figure has embeded geometry, since no obj was produced)
I resave the figure into any folder - this time it produced obj (in the same folder as cr2) and after I reload this figure - some (most of them) bodyparts are gone.
It getting me nervous. What is wrong?
I'm actually about to go to bed but I don't mind having a look when I get back up, if you want to mail me a copy of the CR2+OBJ files. Check your PM.

Strange thing about making figures in poser. Everything is ok, i will make figure otu of props, set the joint and textures and resave it in figures folder. But when I try to reload the figure, some of bodyparts simply vanish. They are in list of body parts, all have mats and all are set to be visible, but they are gone. The even do not appear when you search for outlines of invisible parts. What is that? What causes this strange thing?
