Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 25 4:22 pm)
Does whatever animation you render to preserve the alpha channel? Poser'¨s bacground images 8as the normal background) is treated like an alpha channel and will for instance come out as transparent when rendered as png... Possibly that's the reason?

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
I have Poser Pro2010 and having the same Problem. But I get a message AVI not compatable, something like that.
What i did was make a complete scene, animate it with 4 different Charatures plus a store with all it's items. First I hid all the charactures and just animated the background in Images, Then made them into a movie using Adobe Premiere CS4.
Then I tried to use that animated background while rendering them as Image files. but the backgound animation does not show up.
I've tried using after effects to drop out a blue screen, but didn't like the final results.
Got a fix from Smith Micro.
Delete: Poser.ini
LibraryPrefs.xml
Poser UI Prefsxxxxx.xml.
this doesn't delete anything already there and Poser will rebuild these files the next time you start the program. It is supposed to fix a multitude of Poser problems and worh a try for whatever glitch you may run into.
It fixed my Stuck animation pallete and saves having to reinstall.

Background image renders fine in still image but will not render in animation.
I remember a thread a long time ago on this topic but cannot locate it.
