Hi I hope you can help me

I was wondering if there is a way to get the content (wich is growing day by day) to an external drive and the program it self on my c drive

Thanks in advance

Absolutely.

My Runtime is on my external and DS is on my main drive.

I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.

Oh in DS you have to do a content search. I was a Poser user some years ago and got into the habit of everything being in Runtimes, so i just created a dummy Poser folder and just extract everything there. In DS you can do a content search and just choose your external directory. In my case it is on my D drive.

Thank you very much for the help
I am gonna try this

I have deleted a lot of content that I will never use, but my c drive is constantly warning me about it being to low
Even windows is working badly so I have to move my daz content to my external drive

Ok thanks

You only have to do a content search if you use the "View Categories" setting in the content tab.  If click on the little sideways triangle in the upper right  tab pane you can change to "View As List" or "View As Table(?)".  In these setting content will be viewable if you have set up folder paths in 'Preferences', 'Directories'.  Notice that you have to set the path for both DAZ Studio Native, Poser and Other (don't be concerned about this one for now) files, that bar is actually a button to change between the three options.

No problems using and external drive to hold DS or Posercontent useable in DS.
