Greetings friends,
I am back frying brain cells trying to learn how to record walk cycles, after several months off.
I have DAZ Studio 3.0, Animator & Animate 1.5, with some basic walk cycles.
I have read and studied all the PDFs on these programs, and know how to make a cube go up, down, and diagonal.
I have my character Diana, created from V4 all dialed in with morphs, hair clothing, and shoes.
In Animate 1.5, I have an animation recorded of Diana walking straight toward me, full figure, then ending with a close up of her torso. I now want to pan the camera up and have her walk forward a little more, ending with a close up of her face, so that I can learn MIMIC and have her say something.
I have never seen any tutorials or explanations of how to pan the camera up in the same shot, so I figured I would learn how to use layers in Animator to combine a different shot of her close up and combine the two animations.
When I try to add a second layer and close up of my basic animation the animation ends up to far in the background, or to the side.
Any help would be appreciated, and I will post the end result here when I figure it out.
Thanks!
