Ok have managed to get so far made a dress, got it packaged etc
but it still needs to be able to bend more than it does in more places

how would I go about doing this?

Hey Angie,

I'm assuming you're referring to movement dials or morphs.  I'm sorry, but I am absolutely slammed today and don't have much time to walk you through the process.

What you need to do is add movement bones to the hip of the skirt so you can bend, move, twist it.  You can do the same thing much neater with morphs in Hexagon, but that is a fairly complex process and you need some help through the first time.

I just don't have that time today.

For adding movement bones, do a quick google search for a PhilC tutorial on Adding Bones to a Dress.  He's using Poser in the tutorial, but the process is the same in the Figure Setup Tools - Joint Editor.

For creating morphs, if you want to try to tackle it, there's a tutorial here:

Sorry, I'm just buried with work today and can't be more help.
