Subject: Have a problem with Y rotation on Mike4

FaeMoon ( ) posted Thu, 18 November 2010 at 9:04 PM · edited Sat, 03 August 2024 at 4:29 PM

I am trying to build a scene as a going away present for a coworker.  I have the morphs all done on the character and clothing.  I loaded some scenery in, and for some reason the y rotation has changed from turning Mike 4 around to moving him around in a large circle.

How do I get it to go back to the default?  I've closed Poser and also restarted my computer and that does nothing.  I'm searching through the manual, but I really don't know what I'm looking for.  I'm using Poser Pro 2010.

Any help is greatly appreciated.  I've done a ton of morphing on this character. :(

Somewhere along the line his point of origin has move.  It could have happened if any of the morphs are custom morphs athe mesh was moved in their creation.

But how do I change it back?  I've been using the ++ morphs and the dials and stuff, not the morphing tool.

That does reset it to the default 0, but when I try to rotate it again like turning around in place, he still moves in a big circle....

Good info though, and I'm glad to know about the alt click thing, that's a timesaver!

Any other ideas?  :)

You may want to check the X and Z tans of the hip to make sure they are zero.

Rotating the Body while the X and/or Z trans for the hip are not zero can result in a figure rotating in a big circle

Yeah, I saw that but didn't put two and two together, I guess.  Sometimes I get 5, or something.  lol  But thank you, I will be using lots of things in that tutorial.  You rock.  :)
