But, I'm going to do it anyway, only just in the hopes that perhaps some inquisitive minds live on these forums that don't frequent the Daz ones. I do know some that frequent both, but you never know...
So, here goes.
It's about Shader Mixer. Now, I'm a Poser user who is in partnership with a highly successful Poser character maker - both male and female: HeRaZa. However, we have been making morphs exclusively for Poser 6-7-8-PP-PP2010 only. And skin textures for those characters, which include some fairly elaborate shaders. The Daz market beckons, but making shaders for Daz Studio is a completely different kettle of fish.
But, it is do-able.
I've been having a play in Shader Mixer and think I've finally gotten over some of the conceptual stumbling blocks that hampered my progress at the outset. BB came along and pointed out something I should have figured out if I hadn't been terminally thick that day - as I do - and so there's even Gamma Correction available within those hallowed SM walls.
Here's a simple shader that paints a sphere red:

What I'd like a little pointer to is this: I read somewhere that it is possible to sort-of ball all those brick together into your own brick or whatever. Are there any fairly rudimentary tutorials anywhere on building and using your custom bricks?
