Hi,

I hope I'm not duplicating...my compadre and I were debating on who'd post a notice here.  She said she didn't, so I will -- if this is a dup thread, someone please delete.

Awhile ago, a friend of mine (I know her as Perlk) wanted to retexture some skates modeled by AdamT of most-digital-creations.  She wanted new maps.  To practice my mapping skills, I made new maps...then we went a step further and reconformed the skates.  Then we went a step further and made an outfit to go with those skates.  The skating business got a bit out of hand.  :-)  The skates are roller skates.

You can get them at the link above the image.  (I tried doing the hidden link thing but it didn't work.)  Skates, skater outift, textures for skates and extra textures for the skater outfit...the whole shebang.

*We thank Adam very much for allowing us to play with his skates.  :-)

*Thanks to OKCRandy for letting me use parts of his V4 Dev Kit -- for a freebie.  His stipulation for doing that is to link to the product page, so here's the link.

Clothing items conformed with PhilC's obj to cr2 Python.

I keep forgetting stuff:  Terms of use -- standard.  All renders fine, just no redistribution of the mesh, etc.  If possible, when using the skates, please credit Adam Thwaites or most-digital-creations, in your production notes.  :-)

Items have been tested and checked by Norton.  Still...please use at your own discretion.  :-)

Thank you!

Jan

That post behind Vicky is what I'd be draped across, never was much good at skating.

She looks great, Jan!  : )  Thanks to you and Perlk and Adam and OKCRandy and PhilC!!

Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things!  ; )

Thank you for such a great freeie I don't roll or skate... LAst time I did I ended up, close and personal with the tree and then the ground.... not much to remember except spending a few days in the hospital for a mild concussion... I think I was all of 11 then....

Ha...y'all sound about as coordinated as me!  :-)  I never was much good at skating or rollerblading either.  But if somebody wanted a skating Vicky, Adam's got 'er fixed up.

And Perl's got her prettied up, with nice textures.

Tybalt made DS mats for the skates, too, I believe.  The link is on the downloads page.

It was a great team to work with!  Adam, Perl, Tybalt...all good folks.

And Randy, of course, who is awesome.  His development kits are wonderful, also.

And you two, thanks VERY much for commenting.  :-)
