Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 03 12:46 am)
My guess is, that you have V4 lying down at frame 1 and Poser is autokeying V4 back to the starting pose.
You should apply the lying down pose at frame 1 and at the last frame as well, or
change the keyframes from spline to constant after appyling the pose at frame 1.
Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.
also make sure you uncheck in the simulation "drape from 0 pose" that won't help you.
i'd look in the animation palette for the keys and if v4's pose is to simply lay there and let the cloth drape on it, then make sure there are no other keys for that figure, just lay it there in frame one and have no other keyframes (for v4) at all.
also make sure there are no keyframes for the cloth. you only want to see that key in the very first frame for the cloth. moving it during the sim will make for several weird events.
the animation palette usually has a lot of answers to problems in there (especially with respect to the types of keyframes, like linear and spline.) you want grey keys after frame one...if the keys are green or orange after frame one, delete everything til you get grey. (make sure you set v4's pose to frame one.)
ctrl shift v in p2010
go that way really fast.
if something gets in your way

Ok so i just bought the soft sheets 1 by the amazing saintfox. but im having a problem. What i am tring to do is lay one of the sheets over V4 while V4 is laying down on a bed. I follow the tutorial but when i go hit the Calculate Simulation button in the cloth room this happens - instead of the cloth falling down around V4, V4 stands up and the pose gets all messed up.
I hope i exsplained this well, would love to get some help on this.
Thanks,
Rich
