Subject: Vue9 Esprit Gamma

Is there a way in Vue 9 Esprit to change the gamma in and out to 2.2 from the 1.8. I seen the spot in the picture export to change the gamma, but that wouldn't be changing the textures input gamma, before rendering, would it?

In Esprit you can only output to either a gamma of 1 or 1.8,  no gamma input option. If the necessary nodes are present in the function editor, you can add a Color/gamma node between the colour output and the texture node. Problem is global gamma of the render (atmosphere/procedural colours) will not have the same gamma as your textures.

Thank you for your response. I have the advanced graph add on, but like you said that's only a partial solution. I will look into how to do it in the mean time, but is there a version of VUE that does allow the gamma correction change?

Yes, Infinite and xStream.

Ug! Well thanks for the reply, but that won't be anytime soon.
