Subject: Is there a way to import a .max object into Poser?

Hi

I downloaded a model of a Lotus Super 7 to be Lucy's car.

I thought it would be 3Ds fomat but instead it's .max and Poser doesn't rocognise it.

Is there a way to do this?

If you shoot a mime, do you need a silencer?

Nope.. you need max if I'm not mistaken to be able to export it into some other format.

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

You definitely need Max.  Right Hemisphere has a suite that converts Max to other formats (like LWO, and MB) but you need Max on your system.

There is a MAX free trial available, but not sure if it allows any exports at all.  You can check the site at Autodesk for more info

Hi

Thanks I'll do that.

I had a version of 3DStudio at one time, but that was many years ago.

Probably back in the 90s.

I don't even remember what version it was.

Hi

Lucy has her car.

I got an e-mail today from Renderosity and there is was, just what I needed!

I always wanted one of these for my self and last year I decided to see if I could find one that I could buy, Wow has the price gone up on these things.  To rich for me!

I gave up on the idea, I'll just have to live with my souped up Honda.

I have driven these back in the 60s and 70s, seveal of my friends had them, I should have done it then!

Mike
