Subject: How do I make a purple elf?
Grey will work better with HSV, I assume. Just lower Saturation.
A ship in port is safe;

Sarcasm aside...I believe you're looking for a Drow Elf style texture? While changing hue in the Material Room can look nice, your best bet is to make/use a texture that's intended as a Drow, IMHO. Just like you're not going to get a good Nigerian skin in the MAT room using a caucasian texture map, you're not going to get a good Drow skin that way, either.

Excellent! How'd you do it? I can get into the Material Room and tweak the DIffuse Color for each body part one at a time, or I can apply the new color to everything but that also changes the eyes to the diffuse color. How did you keep the eyes from changing?
