Subject: Items made for Poser work in DAZ...

Bendinggrass ( ) posted Thu, 15 December 2011 at 9:36 PM · edited Fri, 18 October 2024 at 8:13 PM

Evening everyone.

I was looking at and reading about a character called Nanette here at Renderosity. The information stated it worked in Poser but no mention was made of DAZ. However, when I looked at the samples in the Gallery for this character one image was credited with being made in DAZ Studio. The others were made in Poser.

Could someone please talk about this and explain some background that might help me understand this.

Thanks.

Randy

Not many vendors specify whether a product will work in DS -- some will say not tested in DS or no support provided for use in DS.  Usually your best bet is to ask in the DAZ forums if anyone knows.

most poser created items in the store will work in daz studio to a minimum of ds2.3 unless they are poser dynamic or poser materials,

i'm a daz user mainly ( havent gottten poser in any manner) and most of what don't have mention of works in ds2, ds3, or ds4 will work in ds any version, and if the vendor has ds files they will supply them to the purchaser voluntarily and readily.

if this helps then i'm glad to help if it don't then asking if the vendor will try would be up to yourself and i'm sorry i couldn't help.
