verification ,,,,, oh freakin believe you me i just got it this afternoon it goes til the end of feb for free all three programs link is...Quote - Which forum did you see this? I went on Daz and prices were regular. No free software.
I don't trust facebook posts because of possible viruses scams. If you direct me to the forum, not facebook I will click on your link. Scams direct you to a page that looks legit and woe to you if you bite.
lol pappy i don't blame you about the viral links in facebook but seriously if W.Keith Hill posts something like this as status then i've already checked double checked and even already got it all lthe way through the purchase process and recieved the product dl links b4 i post it
Gosh! Hope I didn't ruffle anyones feathers. Didn't mean to. The total value of the packages raised a warning flag to me especially when I went to Daz site and there was nothing visible about the free items. yet when I clicked on 3Doutlaws link the free page came up.
I have since downloaded Studio Pro, checked it with Norton and am enjoying it. Thank you for the heads up 3Doutlaw.
Please accept my apologies if I offended anyone
DAZ has a presence on facebook. They frequent that site more often than their own.

DS3 was their Windows XP
DS4 was their Vista
Maybe DS5 will be their Windows 7 but DS4 lifecycle can't be over and DS5 if it's planned is probably a year away at the very least.
In the mean time they're giving away Bryce Pro, DS4 Pro, Hexagon 2.5 & Bridge and that would normally go for about $1200.00 US, now it's free until the end of the momth so get you some!
I'm guessing sales of Genesis products have been less than spectacular. Probably sales of DS4 Pro. Giving more people exposure to Genesis might be a good business move. I had the free version of Daz, but hadn't looked at it. This made me look. Earned Daz a sale of Genesis products. Daz might in fact be fighting for survival. DS5 might be a moot point.
...again with the negativity, and in the Daz Forums?
I switched to Poser when Genesis came out, but to be honest, I am so tired of people on "this side" complaining and whining, I am ready to spend my time back there. (and use both DS and Poser, since I think they both have cool features in their own way)
Out.
I have added .exe to the file and have got it installed. Many thanks.
I encountered a couple of small problems during installation, described below, in case anybody else encounters the same.
Mitch
These links may help. The first is to a series of video tutorials, the other to a draft manual for DS4 which is far from complete.
