Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 13 11:02 am)
The rendered images are finished in post work, either a 3rd party 2D program or specialized comic format software. That is where dialog/thought bubbles and captions are added. Someone else more familiar with comic software can point you in the right direction.
As for genitalia, most should have an enlargement morph or a set of morphs designed for a different model. If that is the case, you may need to adjust, move and parent such figures to your desired character.
The text bubbles are supper easy to add through photoshop. I take my png saved renders to photoshop to repair clothing tears etc and add the text bubbles and story lines and then add the site logo/URL..
Text bubbles are created with layers.. one for the bubble, another for the triangle pointing to the speaker using first the oval lasso and then the polygon lasso. These are filled in with white colour with the paint bucket..
Your first layer is your image, then you create your layers for text.. Go back and create two new layers just above the image layer, below the text layer. Say you have just the one text bubble, you'll end up with a total of 4 layers (base image, bubble, triangle and text. Once you have the layers, you make the base and text layers invisable, and merge the bubble and triangle layers (merge visable layers). Then add a stroke to the merged layer, "inside, 2 pixels" for example and then make the base and text layers visable again.. flatten the layers (merging them all) and save as image format of your choice..
If you would like more detailed information, drop me a line and I can walk you through it.. simple enough to do.. once you figure it out.
Cheers

Here's page from my most resent comic work. I render in Vue, though. I do lots of voodoo to the renders in Photoshop to finish the art and turn it into a comic page. I use Illustrator to letter.

If you are really serious about it check out SmithMicro's Manga Studio. The old Comic Book Creator program by PlanetWide Games seems to be gone now. Photoshop is great but it takes more work than a software program designed to make comics.

I use Comic Life for my web comic Android. You can buy the software from www.Plasq.com.
I'm a little behind right now because of limited Internet access at the moment, but issue #19 is on the way. I swear!

If anybody know how I can create stuff like that in the comic book form please let me know what you got for me. Also it would be even better if anyone knows where the hell they get those over sized genitals from lol cause I swear I have searched Renderotica and I've never seen them selling those unless its like a special type of morph maybe? I don't know. Still want them either way for certain ideas which I only plan to post on my website because I don't know if anything too sexual is allowed on this site, and I'm fine with that. I'd still like to know where to get the items from. But most importantly I want to create comics. If you don't want to go to the site on account of it being dirty I posted a non-dirty photo of what I was talking about.
Also I posted the link because its the only example I can give where people have used Poser for creating Comics with. I've never actually seen anyone use Poser for anything else other than renders. Usually whenever its a comic its pornographic like. But I've got no problem with that. I like the smut in 3D format ~laughs~ Anyway, thanks for your time. Have a good one.
