Subject: Sub Surface Scattering

I was wondering if there was a way to apply Sub Surface Scattering to all of a figures skin maps at one time?  It's rather teditious having to select each different map.  I was wondering if there was a script that could do this.

EZskin for supported figures by all means, but for lizards and such, the shift method has some utility.

Thanks for the information.  I downloaded EZskin.

So to use the shift key method I select a body part on the figure and then hold down the shift key while I press the wacro if I am I reading you correctly.

That is correct.  It has some disadvantages, but as I said, for unsupported figures it is a quick way to add SSS to a figure.

The benefit of EZSkin is you have complete control over how much SSS you would like to apply to your figure.  Other features control bump settings, reflection, and, heck, if you wanted to change the color of the skin texture, it is all there.  I have been experimenting with creating different color gnome characters just using random skin textures and making the changes through EZSkin.  Dark blue Drows is a snap.

There is another thread in the forum listing additional xml scripts for unsupported characters.  Wellworth looking into it; you might find something useful.
