Subject: DAZ Studio 4 to Bryce 7.1- import function broken?

It's actually Poser to DAZ Studio to Bryce. It stopped working properly literally overnight. Never had any problem with it before. I should say I'm not very good with DAZ Studio, and maybe this is a Bryce question. The import works, but is very buggy and I can't save figures as Bryce objects like I used to. I get this error message.

Sorry, I should show you what I'm exporting from DAZ studio into Bryce. It's this bird. Shows up with the tail texture applied to the wing and no eye texture, and I can no longer save it as a Bryce object- not that I'd want to. Wednesday night everything was fine, then Thursday morning it has gone schizo.

Then it shows up like this in Bryce 7.1 Pro. Tail texture applied to the wing, no eye texture.

It was originally a Poser file, but that never stopped me before.

To the left you can see a perfect Wednesday night bird with both wings. The others are Thursday morning birds, and they are messed up.

I can sometimes fix the scrambled textues in Bryce, but it's tricky and doesn't always work. I was able to fix the bird wing, I don't remember how. Something to do with grouping.

I can save objects in a Bryce library folder again.

I had saved too many objects and there wasn't any room.

I wish the Bryce error message was more specific like "You've already saved too many objects dumbhead! Start a new folder!"

Talos, you're a leg up on me in Bryce. I've had no luck whatsoever in getting the daz-bryce bridge to work, ever! I don't do a lot of work in Bryce anymore (used Vue for my groundmaking issues and whatnot), but I've gotten to the point that if I need it work, I export my subject out of Daz as an OBJ and import into Bryce as a workaround. Texturing has always been an issue from Daz to Bryce, but again, I usually just do some tweaks in Bryce and reimport to Daz if it's a static prop. Last time I used B, it was to fix the materal zones for a lighthouse I got here on rendo that I was aiming to use with Lux. But in Daz, the materal zones were all on one texture as one selection. Doh! Exported out out Bryce in COLLADA which took the better part of an hour (WHY??), then material zones popped up, but were generically listed as 1-11. Sigh...
