It would be great to have some ducts with poser people poses for crawling along, and also climbing from cables into buildings etc.

Eh... it'd be a good freebie.  Ducts might make for... okay tv/movie viewing but they are hardly realistic (in terms of size) and you are severely limited by what kind of shots you can do.

Lighting would also be a problem.

WARK!

Yep, that is why I think it would be a good commercial project with camera peep holes and camera poses built in.

I think would make for good comic making too.

I suspect it wouldn't work very well.  Along with the problems Winterclaw mentioned, Poser people don't bend the same way as real people, especially in the trunk and shoulders.   This makes it very hard to create poses for cars or sitting at a desk; even though the dimensions of the car or furniture are accurate, Poser figures always end up sticking their feet through the floor or their knees through the desk.

Crawling or creeping in a confined space like a duct would be worse, because it's all done with the back and trunk.

I think there are ducts in the Poser primitives? No?
A bit of positioning?
A cable? A long thin cylinder with a magnet on it?

Just brainstorming here.

With these pipes in the primitives folder you can build any pipe system. Oh, forgot the "Y" in the screengrab. Sorry

sorry I meant something that looked a little more spiffy than pipes. I'm not a texturer either, so if someone made a burglar set I would buy it, especially if it had poses and camera angles too.

Love esther

Ohhh.... a Mission Impossible type scene. I get it now.

It could be done if you just set up cubes and enlarged them on the Z axis, and inverted them so that the normals were inside the cube. I've done something similar to this when building a room set. Of course, like a lot of my work, I never finished it.

I could do something like that, and use Antonia or KEV. I don't have and don't use V-anything or M-anything.

Any of the Poser characters and the two mentioned above could be done (as far as poses and what-not).

And I wouldn't charge you for it.

I will work on something later today and see if I can come up with something that will work with lighting and cameras. I think I remember how to make a wall transparent to lighting...
