A part of a scene I'm working on.

The problem is every time I render it there is this black unrendered area on the amplifier, always in the same place, no matter what camera/light settings I use.

The object has been rendered succesfully in a previous image.

If anyone has an idea of what I'm doing wrong and how to correct it, shoot:)

Tnx

Are the head and cab separate props? There is a wierd buldge at the bottom front of the head that I don't think should be there.

If they are separate props, you might have to tweak where the cab is meeting the head. If they are not separate props, then I am lost.

This is a pic I found of a mkII amp head, which I believe is the JCM head you have in the render. See what I mean about the front bottom of the head?

If I had a nickle for ever time a woman told me to get lost, I could buy Manhattan.

Try selecting the amp and uncheck smooth polygons on the properties tab.

Yes, the smooth polygons option was the problem, I turned it off and everything is fine now.

The model I was going for with the amp was the JCM800;)
