Subject: Moprhing Clothes and conforming

I have noticed that if I use Morphing Clothes to add the morphs of a character to clothing, and then I add that clothing to a character, and conform the clothes to it.....they do not conform to the newly added morphs.  Those new morphs are in the clothes, but I still have to dial them in.

Is this the correct functionality, or am I missing a setting when using it?

Of course, I will ask D3D if no-one knows offhand...but I figure its so widely used, someone would know.

You can select the model, go to Edit>Copy, then select the clothing and paste.  That will transfer the morph dialup.

Did you enable the Enable Cross Talk option in the Transfer tab?

But in Poser 9/Pro 2012 there is another solution for clothing that doesn't already have crosstalk enabled.  Select the BODY actor for the clothing and check the "Include Morphs When Conforming" option in the Properties palette.

No, I did not have Enable Cross Talk checked...thanks!  I knew it was something simple I was missing.  Of course, I've added the Elite Utopian and GND4 morph to a TON of clothes, so its good to know about the second option you mention.  Whew!

I did not know about the copy/paste either.

thanks for the quick replies!

I'll have to try that myself...if P7 will do it.
