Google Translate is great fun. Any set I can follow (Dutch / French / German / English / Spanish) creates a new mess. Overall, half the words are about right but in the wrong place, and the other half are wrong but about in the right place. Translating English to French back to English presents you a complete new alien language. Love it. A picture tells a thousand words, and you are looking into a kaleidoscope.
All the best. Must be 2013 in New Zealand now, is it?

Usually I'm wrong. But to be effective and efficient, I don't need to be correct or accurate.

I remeber the joke from years ago about someone testing an English to Russian Translation. They input a well known English saying 'out of sight out of mind" and then took the Russian translation and translated it back to English which read "invisable maniac".
I appealed to me as I spent a few years in Sweden and did not realise just how many sayings I used until I was asked each time to explain the saying and where it originated from.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.

I recall a similar story with the bibilical verse: "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak," which translated from Russian, apparently, as "The wine is agreeable, but the meat is bad."

Don't know if its any better but I've always used what was Babelfish - now apparently Microsoft Translator or Bing Translator depending on who knows what

I got an email from a well-known e-retailer here in the UK, offering me a good deal on a Blu Ray surround-sound system - someone somewhere must be tracking my recent Internet searches, unless Santa is in league with them. I clicked on a link to see some online reviews of the item, which appeared all to be in French; fortunately, there was a handy "translate" button:
"I bought the home to improve the sound of my flat screen and dvd player more clustered and chain fast but hifi.Installation attention to fixing arriière device. Because plastique.Le molded into the drive blu-ray works well and the search for radio stations is not very well explained and lack shame because the RDS station to find out which one is his est.Le améllioré but changing the settings are not so good for flagrant.Trés small pieces and just to improve the sound. For music and movie lovers can be a bit juste.Mais quality price."
Flagrant shame!*
