I've received a comment on the download page here from someone whose sensibilities were offended by the prop. Allow me to stress that 1) I didn't invent these, 2) They were long in use from somewhere around the turn of the century and well into the 1940's in upper-class and upper-middle-class homes in Europe and America, and 3) no animal was harmed in the creation of this Poser prop. I am not insensistive to such feelings but suggesting that I not build a prop like this is comparable to saying that I should not model a handgun because there are those who do not like handguns.
Relax, there's always someone offended by someone else's creations. It doesn't make your prop any less useful or interesting :) hugs

Because you always wanted one!
The stand was created in C4D 9.1 and put together in Poser 7.2. It was NOT tested in Poser 4, 5, or 6 nor was it tested in DAZ Studio. However, the model should be importable into any software which can handle the .OBJ format. Materials are a combination of Poser procedural and textural. Necessary maps may be found in the Runtime/Textures/MW folder. Umbrellas NOT included.
And, go ahead, live a little, think outside the box: Re-scale this sucker and use it for a pencil holder or use several of varied sizes for flower pots or put three huge ones in a bedroom just to keep your characters awake all night...
