THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Bryce7 Pro to Daz 3

Hello,
I just ask you for information between Bryce and Daz, because I mess a little (sorry for my English).

I'm trying to create a home in Bryce, for import into Daz. For objects that must remain fixed, no problem. However, the doors look too far on the x and z axes.

I tried to save them in Daz by coupling them to a cube (one by one), but loading the object containing the cube + the door, order again soon. And all doors cannot remain at 0.

Does anyone have a solution to offer? Thank you in advance.

Just scale them in DS.

Hello.
It is already at the desired scale for Daz. Unfortunately, the doors continue to run around others axes, and not where I want.

I must say that I tried importing to a custom size. Then I recorded the door in Export. The door goes wrong when I re-import it.

Then I tried importing the door to Bryce size (over 24 000%). Then I cut the door to save by Export. The door goes wrong too.

I think you are going to have to use the figure setup tools to re orient the axes on the door.  There is a thread in the DAZStudio forum at DAZ about resetting the rotate point.  It was recent so it should not be too hard to find.

Thank you.

Are you talking about this subject?

No, I have to say here does not help me at all.
DS3 and I found absolutely no place where I could choose Settings Tool.
And I prefer to work in DS3, because DS4 bugs regularly.

As a bonus, I've changed the numbers of the axes of rotation, and the door that serves as my test ride in all directions but never to the desired location.

Finally, I looked differently. That is to say, how to create a file .pp2.   :)))
And doors seem to work while standing still.
For those interested, you should go on this topic

So that the door remains in place, I added a square which I related the door (the square should be in the door hinge side).
