You're probably getting tired of my fractal program questions, but I have another one.

I downloaded Mandlebrot 3D, but couldn't get any extra parameter files, or any shared parameters from here to work. I get an error message about missing parts in the files. I noticed there are several different downloads for the program, and maybe I got too early a version? (sorry, I don't remember which one I got....I deleted it out of frustration) Also, are there things I need to download seperately to get these things to work? I appreciate any help you can give.

Please, PLEASE don't just send me to their forums. The things they talk about are way over my head. I tried that way, believe me. LOL

The version 1.8.9x1 is the one you need to have the latest version with all the latest Formulas included. Earlier versions will not have ALL the formulas....

When using MB3D for the first time make sure all INI destination folders are correct by manually checking them. Also if loading params give you an Formula missing error try a manual load of the missing formula...sometimes the first time using a formula(normally just in the case of newly added formulas) they need a manual load for the program to see them.

Well poop, here we go with me sounding like a total idiot (I'm really not) Where exactly should the INI folders be located. Are they identified as INI destination folders? (wait, there's more) How does one manually load missing formulas. Is there a tutorial about this that isn't written for genius level fractal peeps? I swear....I'm really not an idiot. LOL I just sound like one while I'm trying to figure out whats what. Once I get the basic understanding, I'm fine.
