I have just discovered the Mesh Deform modifier. Very cool. It Basicaly works like the lattice modifier. You use a mesh object for your control cage and is therfore much more customizable. Basicaly you model a simple shape and then bind it to what ever object you want to manipulate. Another interesting thing I noticed is that the cage only binds to the area over wich it is positioned. The lattice modifier seems to affect the whole oject. I'm finding it very useful to repose a model that I'm sculpting on.  Really helpful on dynamic topolgy since it is usually really dense and with no edge flow.

You guys probably new about this but I just had to throw it out there just incase somebody had not..

I didnt know about it but then again I still have not found an instance to use the lattice tool yet either. I do want to eventually dive into using the sculpting tools and brushes but I am still on taking adolescent steps having sort of self graduated from baby steps in Blender 😊

oh I here ya on the baby steps. I'm fairly comfartable with the modeling and scupting but there is a bunch I have no clue about. The matrerial node system looks cool but I'll  need lots of tuts get me llined out. Also would eventualy like to learn the compositing and animation end of things.

Attached Link: Underground Tunnel

Well my first full Blender scene render Underground Tunnel which I followed from a Blender Guru [ Create an Underground Subway Scene](http://www.blenderguru.com/videos/create-an-underground-subway-scene-part-1-of-2/) has a good portion on using the node editor and compositing granted still allot more to learn but seeing the results does inspire one to further explore nodes.

@Lobo3433 Nice render. Texture and lighting kickass. Thanks for the link to the tut. I'm going to give it a shot. It's funny how something that can seem so daunting can become like second nature. At least thats what I keep telling my self.

@heddheld lol I saw a tut on using the lattice modifier to do that very trick. Very cool

Well I followed much of that tutorial just changed the model to make something similar yet still sort of uniquely mine and used a good portion of the Node portion of the tutorial for the effects again changing just a few settings for the look I wanted. And that is a cool use of the lattice modifier heddheld. :thumbupboth:
