Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 03 8:14 am)
Thanks. Searched on light skin and albino, not on the word white :)
Will grab it since it is on clearance :)
Might have a solution by saving off the makeup as a png and plugging it back into one of the math nodes I used to desaturate the skin tone to start with. But massively late for work and will have to mess around more later tonight when I get back home.
(Why does work always have to get in the way of my poser projects?)

Odd that it's not $3.50 like the Clearance items are supposed to be...

"Oh - the manual says that? I have never read the manual - this must be why."Quote - Bagginsbill created an albino shader set using VSS quite some time ago. You could control the intensity of the albino tint. Unfortunately, it was never updated to incorporate SSS in the latest Poser iterations, but I do believe that it relied on faked SSS.
Thanks for the tip on BB's shader. Will try to hunt down when I get home tonight. The texture I modified was a store bought one and had SSS built in. Not quite as many wires running around in this shader as a typical BB shader, but close.

The reason it is not 3.50, is becuase the vendor has pulled all their products and the item is no longer for sale.

Neither did I when I first looked at yeasterday morning. When I went back to buy it last night is when I discovered it was no longer for sale and the vendor has 0 items for sale in their store. Just thought you or anybody else reading this thread should know why it is not part of the clearence promotion.
Through the magic of photoshop and a lot of experimentation I got the makeup to look decent enough for me after countless test renders and I am calling my project 95 percent done via my color math routine. I am a tweaker, so the other 5 percent that is missing I will tweak it till I ruin it. :scared:

Use a blender mask for the makeup so it doesn't get toned procedurally.
WARK!

That is sort of what I did. Peeled the eyeshadow off the original and use it as a mask. No expert in Photoshop, but feathering the edges of the mask took to long for me to figure out. Needed a hard edge at the edge of the eyelid and feathered across the top to kill the hard edge there.
Using transmapped brows and the lips I didn't touch.

There's Ivory over at DAZ, but I don't know if she's pale enough...

Odd request-Looking for good Albino Skin Texture for V4, that I can then add my own makeups to.
If I do a color math routine, I can get the skin to the shade I want. Problem is it tones the makeup colors whiter also and they look odd. My photoshop skills suck and if I try to modify the skin tone in PS it looks like crapola.
Or should I try to put the makeup back like you would a tatoo with a blender node I think is how it is done so it by passes the color math routine.
I have the makeup around the eyes as a series of self created overlays
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
Gary
