Subject: has anyone tried POWER CITY in DS?

klown ( ) posted Thu, 06 February 2014 at 1:54 PM · edited Tue, 24 December 2024 at 11:58 PM

Does it work? Does it work partially? It's "Not tested in Daz Studio" which means what is says but has anyone tried it?

I can't ask this question over at D***d.rep.kp since they delete posts to outside items.

thanks in advance.

You might want to ask Powerage whether or not he used poser-specific materials - worst case is the props will load in Daz, but the materials won't translate, you'd have to re-texture the buildings.  If they're texture maps, it should work fine.  I say Go to the source and ask :)

Set looks good though and it's something I might be interested in (I only use DS myself)

Powerage responded (thanks Powerage!)

I have not been feedback to DS users, but I know that many DS users bought Powertown. The product does not use special Poser shaders only texture maps, so there's no reason you have problems with it in DS. If that were the case, contact me so that I help you

It is callled "Power Town"...

I have bought the "Power Town" and tried it under DS.

  1. Yes, you can use it under DS.
But, I don't think the texture is very good ... under DS.
PS: I do not try it under Poser yet.

  2. Yes, you can depart every buildings.
