I have tried every possible combination of things.
I left the new rig completely intact and tried it that way.
I "posed" Tyler with the T-pose and morphs that I used to create the suit with,
I left Tyler loaded at default.
I unchecked all the property tabs.
I have checked and double checked for interesecting verts, isolated verts, all of it.
I auto grouped in the pose room prior to entering the setup room.
Tyler has no donor DEV rig, so I can only use his fully morphed cr2. Maybe I should strip his cr2 and make my own DEV rig???
I am lost and frustrated once again.
The problem with the stuff I made for Dawn, in case anyone is having that issue, is that you have to click on "Include scales when conforming" or your figure blows up. But I tried ALL of those things with Tyler and this is still happening.
I want to release this, but not in the current configuration if I want people to use it. I find it embarassing to have to put this in a ReadMe to make sure you zero out the figure once you conform it to Tyler...

I'll give that a shot right now and let you know what happens.
But just for information, Tyler loads as you see him in the first pic, with his arms down instead of T posed. If I zero the figure, it will be T posed. Will THAT present a problem?

Got it. I am going to have to really clean up the cr2 files when I get done rigging all the parts. All the morphs are in there and since the geometry is different, they don't do anything but take up file space.

I rigged the suit, boots, gloves and gauntlets already. I was working on the belt when I ran into "the figure contains groups not belonging to a bone, do you still want to exit the setup room". I got pee'd off and left it anyway.... :blink:

Incidentally the OBJ2CR2 utility will automatically do all that you have gone through in just a couple of mouse clicks.
I'd gotten similar results when I was using the fitting room... For me it was that the clothing had inherited the figure's smaller joint falloffs... I thought it was incorrect grouping at first, but I was able to easily fix it by opening the joint editor and slightly expanding the capsules to contain the offending verts.

The "costumed vigilante" suit I made for Tyler is on the stage.
I entered the setup room, loaded Tyler's rig into it, clicked on yes to group the figure according to the new skeleton, and then deleted the bones not affecting the grouping.
I renamed the figure and clicked on "Include scales when conforming", "Match end points when conforming", and "Follow origins when conforming".
Back in the pose room, I bring Tyler onto the stage, select my new figure and go to the file menu "Figure/ Copy Joint Zones From..." and select Tyler.
Now I click on Conform To/Tyler and this happens...
