Hi guys,
Has anyone ever played around with Poser or Daz3d characters in Maya?
I know they can be exported into Maya effortlessly, but when it comes to Animation in maya using these characters, do i need to rig the character in maya or will the default rigging from Poser for that character remain in tact when the character is transferred from Poser or Daz into Maya?
If, the rigging from poser do stay on the character after the transfer, can i just pose/animate the character or are there any work that needs to be done prior to doing the animation in maya?
Lastly, if the rigging from poser stays with the character, should i even use it? or should i re-rig the character from scratch on my own? will the animation be more fluid and life-like compare to using the default rigging for that character from Poser/Daz?
