Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 20 7:34 am)
An obvious question springs to mind after watching the Autodesk 123D demo vid is how practical would it be to use Autodesk 123D to create Poser figures? (ie would Poser pro game dev produce a usable base mesh or would some other retopology app work if not). Interesting technology, thanks for the heads up.
If you could get the person you are modelling to stay still enough, the mesh will be good - but may not be optimal for bending at the joints. I think this process is better suited to props. The biggest issue is the texturemaps have baked on lighting, highlights, etc.
