Subject: Future of "free stuff" section

Hello

I am currently involved in the production of materials for this section. I think we do very little to let us do it, and I wonder why I continued to do it.

Regards,

Lucien Lilippe

I am glad that you produce such fine models for the freestuff  here and I am sure that others feel the same way.  I am afraid I do not understand exactly what you are not satisfied with.  Can you please be more specific.

I agree with UVDan. Your freebee's are excellent. About the only thing I understood was you are not happy and yet you continue making freebees'.

I agree with UVDan and Idgilman, but that being said THANKS!!!

Sure, I am happy to do it ! That's training for 3d modeling and i'm glad to share my work. But the feedback is just inexistant (or so little). I will be glad too, if (like i say in my terms of license), i could see any works of artists using my stuff.

I think that RENDO do not enough insist on this point. For exemple, if i upload a pic with the form on line, this form give me the choice to credit a "vendor", why not a "share..or".

Lucien your stuff is FIRST RATE!   There used to be a comments section if I remember correctly but it wasn't used all that much.  I think Rendo removed it for that reason.

Good point ! Yes, we should try to give freebie makers some credit in the Renderosity Gallery, but the database administration will probably be difficult.

Thanks a lot infinity10

Yet for the database, 3 or 4 lines of code its enough...

I think that even tho you may not get lots of feedback there are a ton of people who rely on freebies and greatly appreciate your kindness. People may not feel confident in giving feedback on something they dont know how to make. For me I would only be able to say that I like something, maybe what I like about it. But if its more technical feedbak you desire I wouldnt be able to help. As far as listing what I use in a scene and who made it , well sometimes thats possible and sometimes not. Simply because there are many things that get saved and after a time I just dont remember who made it. Sorry youre unhappy with it all but know there are many people who do appreciate it.

I agree with lucien that they should add button in gallery to credit freestuff creators.  when I was posting in gallery here, I would always list as many of them as possible.

I think Miss Nancy touches on something relevant - a lot of people may use the freebies but not post in the gallery here, for various reasons.

Poser 11 Pro, Windows 10

Auxiliary Apps: Blender 2.79, Vue Complete 2016, Genetica 4 Pro, Gliftex 11 Pro, CorelDraw Suite X6, Comic Life 2, Project Dogwaffle Howler 8, Stitch Witch
