Subject: indexing in progress

Trying soooooooooooooo hard to get Poser 11 working and to like it.,.So far each time I start it up seems it wants to update indexing? Tell me how many days will this go on???

Not that i know how to fix it, but i have the exact opposite experience, Poser 11 library seems way faster than the old one and the annoying "You want to move folder is gone as well" :D

But have you tried to check the preferences, there are some stuff in there about the library you can try to change and see if that helps?

Its only the search engine that keeps indexing. If I know the product vendor I can open up library and load the item. Search engine is the terrible. Right now I am looking for jewelry...Search just indexes...Faster to go to my account and search my purchases...

The indexing problem is a known issue that is the result of sloppy database planning and integrating it into the software. Put simply, if you have only a few runtimes active in the library, you probably won't have an issue. If you have a big library, the search function won't work properly.

Hope they will have a patch soon..Not cheap for a program that doesn't work right.

I take it you installed SR1?

yes..SR1 is installed...Check D/L manager for all updates
